FC Helsingør has signed a contract with central midfielder Frederik Juul Christensen
The 19-year-old Dane comes from FC Nordsjælland, and can play both as a defensive midfielder and further up the pitch.
Head scout Brian Gellert welcomes the new man to FCH's central midfield:
– After completing his trial period, everyone in the sporting department agreed that we simply had to have him.
Frederik comes from FC Nordsjælland, where during all his youth years he was a major profile for both the u17 and their u19 team. With Frederik, we get a really skilled technical player who has a fantastic eye for the game and always gives 100 percent for the team.
Frederik has also played for various youth national teams and, despite his age, has already appeared for FC Nordsjælland's Superliga team. We see Frederik as the man of the future at FCH and look forward to seeing him develop even more in our environment.
We are proud that we have succeeded in landing such a talented player, who could easily have chosen something else, but who bought into our project up here.
