Andreas Smed has trained with FC Helsingør over the past few weeks, and has impressed the sporting management enough to be offered a contract at the club.
Brian Gellert puts some words to the young striker
– Andreas has worked hard and shown fine qualities. He is a hard-working player with good development potential. Initially, he will get a contract until winter, so we can get to know each other, but if he shows the same qualities as so far, he could make a quick breakthrough in the FCH shirt.
Andreas Smed himself is happy that his time at FCH has resulted in a contract.
– The squad has welcomed me really well. There is a really good dressing room up here, and people are good at helping each other if you have questions or the like. I did play against FCH in the 2th division with HIK, and the way they played appealed to me. I watched their strikers, and I thought they looked good, and I liked the way FCH plays attacking football. I also played on artificial turf in HIK, so that has also made it an easy transition. If I should describe myself, I am hard-working, cover a lot of ground and have always tried to be industrious in the clubs I have been at. And I hope that I bring a lot of goals as well.
Andreas Smed has received FCH shirt no. 18.
