Emil is a fantastic success story seen through FC Helsingør eyes.
He has been raised and received his football education in our parent club Snekkersten IF and through hard work and his qualities on the pitch has now been given the opportunity to take the next big step in his career. Which therefore means his first professional contract with FC Helsingør.

Emil is a dangerous striker with an eye for goal, and because of his good overview on the pitch and eye for the game, he also has plenty of assists on his CV.

On a daily basis he attends the sports line in Helsingør and the boyhood dream has therefore always been to become a professional footballer.
In the first instance, Emil will become part of FC Helsingør’s academy, where he will play for U15 and U17, of course with a view to developing even further and hopefully being ready when the call-up to the first-team squad comes.
It is not every day that FC Helsingør signs a contract with such a young player, but when the qualities, will and humility are there, we also act.

This also fits perfectly into FC Helsingør’s vision of finding and developing players through our parent clubs and, through strong cooperation, seeing them grow with the task and hopefully one day run onto the pitch with the first-team squad.

Academy director Kenneth Rasmussen shares the same conviction.

“Emil has great potential and a good understanding of the game combined with a high technical level. If he keeps working hard and stays humble, he can take the same journey as we have seen with Alexander Lyng. But great talent also comes with great responsibility, and it is now up to Emil himself and the club to take it to the next level. It is part of the club’s overall strategy to help young talents, and it cannot be written better than when Emil comes from a parent club and at the same time attends the sports line, and thus now becomes part of FC Helsingør”

No effort was spared in hiding the excitement from the man of the hour himself.

“It is huge that I am now signing my first professional contract and I am very happy.
I look forward to meeting a lot of new people and showing what I can do on the pitch. I have a good shot and am good at dribbling in tight spaces, and then I have a good overview on the pitch.”

We look forward to following Emil’s development and warmly welcome him!
