FC Helsingør has just signed a two-year contract with 17-year-old Donart Bedjeti.

Donart has come through the ranks since he joined FC Helsingør's youth academy less than a year ago. He was born in North Macedonia, but came to Denmark just three years ago and after two years at FA2000 he found his way to Helsingør.

Great performances in the U17 team meant that he quickly moved on to the U19 team, where he now trains every day. Here too he has performed and shown his qualities as a composed striker who is not afraid to step up when it matters.
This has meant that he has already been around the first team, and he even got 10 minutes of playing time in the cup win over BK Skjold earlier in the season.

Donart attends school in Ballerup every day, so it takes sacrifice to chase the dream when the training ground is in Helsingør. Fortunately, he is also a determined young man, who has now signed his first contract.

“I am incredibly proud, and it is a dream I have had for a long time. It has required a lot of hard work, but with hard work you can also go far. This was the first step, and now I look forward to developing even more and making my debut in the league for the first team.”

When asked about his own qualities on the pitch, there is also no doubt about where the priorities lie.

“I am a true striker! I am fast, strong on the ball and of course I have a nose for goal. I also think my teammates would describe me as someone who can also have fun on the training pitch – but of course also expects me to score goals.”

We look forward to following Donart's development and hope to see him run onto the pitch for his debut in the NordicBet Liga soon.
