FC Helsingør has signed a contract with the 15-year-old Lucas Meibom. The local Gilleleje boy plays day-to-day for FCH's U15 team, where he is captain and directs the central midfield.

Talent director Kenneth Rasmussen has high expectations for the midfielder
– First and foremost, Lucas is a technically skilled and very game-intelligent player, with leadership qualities and a good work ethic. He has gone through a really fine development during his time at FC Helsingør, and works hard and dedicatedly with his football.

Here at the club, we have big ambitions for our talent work and therefore work intensely on further developing our talent development environment and therefore constantly seek to raise our level. With the contract, we show that we are also serious in our ambition to keep the best youth players in the local area within FCH. We will continuously raise the demands for all our players, coaches and leaders – this also applies especially to Lucas, who is now expected to lead the way even more in daily training. I am sure that he can raise himself to the next level, and we look forward to following his development.

Lucas Meibom has, in addition to FCH, also played in Helsinge, and is, as mentioned, a Gilleleje boy, where he lives and attends school daily.
