FC Helsingør have brought in the 20-year-old defensive talent Morten Fraysse from B93. The young defender primarily plays centrally and is left-footed.
Director Janus Kyhl says about the signing:
– Morten has initially been brought in as an investment in the future. We have four really strong centre-backs in Holm, Fisch, Gregor and Daniel Jørgensen, where Morten will initially be backup, especially if Fisch or Daniel have to play at full-back in some of the matches. We have spoken to Morten about that, and he is fully aware of it.
– But make no mistake, Morten is a big talent, and by virtue of being left-footed alone, he gives us an extra dimension in central defence. The sporting department has wanted to bring in a technically good, left-footed defender, and Morten is a really good match. He established himself this spring as a regular starter in B93, and before that came from FC Copenhagen’s strong academy, so he is a player with the potential for a great career, and we are very much looking forward to working with him.
Morten Fraysse has initially signed a two-year contract with FC Helsingør.
