FC Helsingør signed a contract today with the 18-year-old Mathias Bill, who on a daily basis is based at the Talent Academy's U19 team.
The attacking talent has been a prominent player and played a major part in the U19 team's success this season, where he is a regular on the team sheet.
Head coach Daniel Pedersen also has an in-depth knowledge of Mathias from his time at the Talent Academy.
“We see great potential in Mathias, who is good at creating chances for his teammates and not least himself. With his positive development, he can take the next step into senior football and we look forward to following him closely.”
Mathias has recently been around the first team training sessions and also took part in the senior squad's recently completed training camp in Turkey. He has shown his qualities and impressed to a degree that now results in a contract.
Mathias will still be found on the U19 team and is also expected to take part in their upcoming training camp.
Mathias himself is also looking forward to continuing his development at FC Helsingør.
“I have always felt comfortable at FC Helsingør and been happy playing here. Therefore I am also incredibly happy to be able to continue my further development here at FC Helsingør.”
Mathias Bill's contract runs until the end of 2023.
