Rasmus Sjøholm gets a contract at FC Helsingør

The youth talent, who started his career at the parent club Snekkersten If, has now put pen to paper on his first contract.

16-year-old Rasmus Sjøholm has this season blasted through in the U17 league and with his 19 goals is currently in second place on the top scorer list with three matches left in the season.

On a daily basis, Rasmus is a first-year student at Espergærde Gymnasium, but football has always been what filled his life.
His career started at SIF under the skilled guidance of his mother, and with the launch of FCH’s talent academy, the next step in his career was quite natural.

There is no doubt that Liverpool is the dream destination when speaking to Rasmus, but the focus is first and foremost on making his debut for FC Helsingør’s first team.

“The next goal is quite clearly to make my debut for the first team. After that I of course see myself becoming a regular part of the team and hopefully a key player in time.”

When asked about his own qualities, it is also clear that Rasmus is a true workhorse who likes to put the team ahead of himself.

“I have a good shot and I work extremely hard for the team. I’m not afraid to run the extra meter when the team needs it.”

The striker now has a few years to develop even more at the academy and we look forward to following him from the sidelines.
