Daniel Stüccler is happy to have the future in place.
– The goal is for me to step it up here and show what I can do. I didn’t quite get the chance to show myself in Køge, but I am ready to do that here. Hopefully I will get a lot of playing time and help the team. Of course I need a little time to settle into the squad and get back into top shape, but then I am also sure that I will make my mark. I have scored in the Superliga before, and I am sure that it will come again. I think we have a good chance in the Superliga. We have a really good team, both on and off the pitch, and a good team spirit.

Head coach Christian Lønstrup sees great potential in the addition:
– Daniel is one of the big youth talents in Denmark over the past five to ten years, but he has not had his potential fulfilled at Brøndby or in Køge. So we are taking "the battle up a notch," as we have done with a number of other players, and we can see a lot of exciting things in Daniel. It will take a little time with him, but there is clearly a reason why we have brought him in. In the first instance it is to strengthen our squad depth, but after a little time the plan is that he will play Superliga. Daniel is a fairly complete striker. He is especially a good box player who knows where the goal stands, but he has been somewhat burdened by a lack of self-confidence. There have been too many bad experiences for him in recent years, and that is something we need to change.

Stückler started his youth career in Lyngby and Brøndby, where he was regarded as one of the great attacking talents in Danish football. Daniel Stückler has played nine matches in the Alka Superliga for Brøndby and scored one goal. In addition, he has 42 youth international caps on his CV.

Daniel Stückler has initially been given a one-year contract, and is not in the squad for today's match against SønderjyskE.
