At the start of the season in 1. Division, FC Helsingør’s first team will take the pitch with a completely new logo on the chest of the shirt. It has been a wish of the club’s management for some time to update the club logo to something more contemporary than the existing one.

Director Jim Kirks puts a few words to the thoughts behind the new logo:

- There was a feeling from the club’s side that the old logo was very much a product of its time, and did not really say “Helsingør” enough in its expression. We have spent some time working with a graphic designer on a new design, which most people will hopefully welcome. It incorporates a number of design elements that much more clearly than the old one say something about the city the club is based in, and it is our hope that we have succeeded in combining something new with something traditional. We are proud of the new design and hope that people will receive it with an open mind.

We are currently working on seeing how the entire club can end up playing under the same logo, but it will not be introduced across the board right away. There is a lot of logistics that need to fall into place, and it is a big task to be carried out in a small club. So for a period of time both the new and the old logo will appear side by side, until we have implemented the new one on all shirts, signs, websites, social media, training gear etc.

Our goal is that everything related to the first team will carry the new logo at the start of the season in 1. Division.”

The new logo will be implemented gradually over the coming period.
