FC Helsingør have loaned 21-year-old Peter Buch Christiansen from SønderjyskE for the entire coming season. The young striker will join FCH at the end of June.

Sporting director Brian Gellert has had Peter Buch in his sights for some time:

– In this transfer window, our goal has been to raise the bar for the level across the entire squad, and we have especially wanted to add players with Superliga experience. With Peter, Oliver Drost and Kasper Enghardt, we have added three players who together have played over 200 Superliga matches, so we have got off to a good start. We have long kept a good eye on Peter, and we have tried to get him to the club on several occasions. Now the opportunity arose, and we are very happy that it has been possible. Peter is a huge attacking talent. He is two-footed and aggressive striker, with plenty of individual quality and pace, and he fits perfectly into the way we want to play football.

Peter Buch Christiansen himself is looking forward to the new challenge
– I think FC Helsingør has an exciting project, and I believe I fit the club and the people here well, and the playing style was also attractive for the way I like to play football. If I have to describe myself, I am a hard-working, aggressive striker who likes to challenge my opponent. Even though I am not that old, I have played quite a few matches for SønderjyskE, so I have quite a bit of experience for my age. My goal with my stay in Helsingør is first and foremost to contribute to the team and build on the club's good results from last year. And hopefully I can score a lot of goals.

Peter Buch Christiansen has played 64 first-team matches for SønderjyskE, resulting in 7 goals. He has additionally contributed with 35 goals in 49 matches for the SønderjyskE U19 team.
