FC Helsingør have this evening reached an agreement with the reigning South American champions from Gremio on a loan deal for the attacking midfield talent Felipe Tontini Da Silveira.

22-year-old Tontini, as he is commonly called, made his senior debut in the cup for Gremio in 2016, and has otherwise primarily been associated with Gremio's Serie B team.

FCH director Janus Kyhl could not say no when the opportunity arose:
Tontini is a very exciting player, whom we have been scouting for the attacking midfield position for a long time. In fact, about a week ago we had given up getting him to the club, as Gremio was not entirely sure they wanted to loan him out, but we eventually persuaded them.

He has been well schooled at one of Brazil's best academies, and I have great faith that, like Matheus and Douglas, he can add further attacking options for us. He is a player from a level we normally cannot operate at, and we are very excited to see what a talent from one of South America's very biggest clubs can contribute to FC Helsingør.

Tontini will join FC Helsingør's squad in Belek tomorrow afternoon, Danish time. His loan deal runs until the summer.
