FC Helsingør's network of partners and sponsors meets once a month in our VIP Lounge at the Stadium for breakfast, insight into the club, external presentations and, not least, networking among the city's businesspeople.
This morning we invite all the city's businesspeople to join, to show who you and we are – and hopefully get an even larger, even more rewarding network going with a focus on relationships, business and knowledge sharing.
Today's speaker, author and business PhD in personality and management effectiveness Troels Gottlieb, already challenged the notion of the humanistic coach with his media-covered psychology thesis, precisely when the Danish men's handball national team led by Ulrik Wilbek won their first gold. Based on the current mayor of Viborg, he described how Wilbek's championships are the result of an authoritarian leadership style and not of the humanistic coach, as both Wilbek himself and the media otherwise cultivated as being the case.
And now Troels Gottlieb is back on the pitch! Taking as his starting point his latest book – The Monkey Follows, power and desire in human psychology – he reminds us that leadership, in its essence, is about one party getting another party to do something specific – about power and hierarchy, not democracy.
As usual, we start with the good breakfast buffet from Nordsjællands Catering at 7.30. and start the meeting at 8.00.
At 9.30 we wrap up for this time.
We are aiming to be many this morning, so sign up already now HERE
Hope to see you!
The FC Helsingør team
