The club has brought the young left-back Jakob Vadstrup Larsen home from Fiorentina. Jakob Vadstrup Larsen, who turns 19 years old on Saturday, played for Lyngby Boldklub during his youth years, before taking the step abroad last season to feature for the Italian U19 team at Fiorentina.
Head coach Morten Eskesen is pleased with the signing and says:
– Jakob has trained with us during the pre-season and has looked really good. After a year in Italy, he needs to adjust to senior football and 1. division in Denmark. We are looking forward to seeing the great potential he has unfold here at FC Helsingør during the coming season.
Jakob Vadstrup Larsen is happy with the decision to return to Denmark and says:
– I am happy to have come to FC Helsingør and look forward to contributing what I can to the squad.
The young Vadstrup Larsen has signed a contract that runs until the summer of 2024.
