Late Monday, FC Helsingør signed 22-year-old attacking player Liam Jordan from HB Køge.

Jordan, who can play both as a striker and on the wing, joins with immediate effect. Liam Jordan has a background with Portuguese Sporting’s B team, from where he moved to HB Køge in 2017.

Liam Jordan also has South African and New Zealand roots, and played for Auckland City in New Zealand and Bidwest Wits FC in South Africa as a youth.

Sporting director Brian Gellert is pleased that it has been possible to strengthen the attack:
-Liam is, like most of the players we sign, someone we have had on our list for some time. He is a young, flexible player who can cover most of the attacking positions. With Jeppe Kjærs’ injury, we have wanted to add more depth in attack, and with Liam we get a player who can play both in attack and on the wings, and who in particular in recent seasons has shown that he can score goals in 1. Division.

– Initially, we have signed a contract through the summer to see whether we are a good match, and then we will see whether we continue the partnership after that.

Liam Jordan has played 87 matches for HB Køge and scored 11 goals
