The club has signed the experienced and 1,93 m tall goalkeeper Mandé Sayouba from OB. The 29-year-old goalkeeper joins Helsingør on a 1-year loan. Sayouba originally comes from the Ivory Coast and has played 5 senior international matches as well as a number of youth international matches for the Ivory Coast.

Goalkeeping coach Simon Hansen is pleased with the arrival and says:

– Mandé brings a lot of experience with him, and he will help strengthen the goalkeeping team we have at the club. It is important that we add quality to the squad this season, so we have taken the time to identify the right players with the qualities we feel will have a positive impact. After playing a significant number of matches in and outside Denmark, Mandé ticks all these boxes for us. He has come in to compete with the other goalkeepers and help our young players, so it is a loan deal we are really happy to have secured.

Mandé Sayouba previously played for Norwegian Stabæk before making the move to Odense in 2018. He will therefore be at FC Helsingør from Wednesday, where he has his first training day at the club. On the move to FC Helsingør he says:

– I am very happy to have made an agreement with FC Helsingør and I look forward to meeting my new teammates, the coaching staff and our fans. I am looking forward to getting started with training and the coming season in the goalkeeper shirt.

Our new goalkeeper has signed a loan deal that runs until the summer of 2023.

Welcome to Mandé.
