Aarhus native Kasper Kristensen is the newest man between the posts at FC Helsingør.

Kristensen played youth football at AGF from U17 and progressed all the way up to the first-team squad, where it became 6 appearances.

In recent years he has been a regular for Trelleborgs FF in the Swedish SuperEttan. There he worked together with Patrik Abrahamsson, who recently also took over the assistant coach job at FC Helsingør.

For Kristensen, it will also be a joyful reunion between the two.

“I know Patrik well and know how he works. After talks with him and Bo, I have got a really good impression of them and the club, so I am looking forward to the next chapter.”

Life in Denmark will, however, be somewhat different than before, as he will help ensure the club’s survival instead of competing at the top of the table as he has been used to.

“I know that the results have not been as desired, but I also think the club has shown that they do not belong where they are right now. That said, I hope I can come in and contribute with my quality and help the team.”

Kasper Kristensen has signed a 2-year contract, which binds him to the club until the end of 2025.
