FC Helsingør has extended the contracts of Daniel Norouzi and Nikolaj Hansen, who are both now under contract until the summer of 2022.

Both players were important pieces in last season's promotion, and have likewise been among the first on Morten Eskesen's team sheet this season.

Midfielder Daniel Norouzi has been happy to be part of the team's rise over the past year and a half:
– We have had a very positive development both on the pitch, results-wise, and culture-wise. It has been great to be part of, and play a role in, and I would like to continue that. I'm not that old again, but I have a lot of experience to share, and I would like to be someone who leads the way and brings the team together, also in adversity. I hope that is something the young players can use, and that I can help new or young players feel safe when they arrive. And then it is also nice that I have been able to make football work hand in hand with my studies, and I can continue on the master's programme until the summer.

Center back Nikolaj Hansen took over the captain's armband after the promotion in the summer, and had no reservations about continuing in light blue and white:
– It was an easy choice. I am extremely happy to be here, both on and off the pitch. It has been a fun and challenging journey we have been on over the last 1½ years, so it was natural to continue. It wasn't really a big change to get the captain's armband on. I have done much of the same as I have always done, and I hope and believe that I have fulfilled my role to the satisfaction of those who assess these things, and that is something I have been both very happy and proud of.

From the club's side, sporting director Brian Gellert is pleased to have secured the two players' signatures:
– Both Rous and Hanne have been enormously important first for our promotion, and then for our fine season in 1. Division. They both embody the values that we believe should define our club: Hard work, a willingness to learn and develop, and responsibility for the community, both on the pitch and in the dressing room. We believe there has previously been a little too much turnover in the squad, and it has been a goal for us to bring greater continuity into the squad. We are already well on our way with that, and it is also reflected in our results. And without revealing too much, I can tease that there are probably more news items in the pipeline.

Nikolaj Hansen and Daniel Norouzi have both played 39 matches in the FCH shirt.
