The young midfielder Frederik Juul Christensen has played virtually every minute for the club this season, and his hard work and great potential have been rewarded with a contract extension. FC Helsingør and Frederik Juul have thus extended the contract by a further two years, so it now runs until the summer of 2024
Sports director Brian Gellert is pleased with the signature from Frederik Juul:
Frederik fits perfectly into the team, and into our strategy. He is a young, hard-working player with great potential, who has really established himself in the team this season. He and Daniel Norouzi have been one of the most stable midfields in 1. Division, and now we have secured that we can build further on his development in the coming seasons. We have high expectations of Frederik, and we look forward to seeing him take the next step.
Frederik Juul Christensen himself is also pleased to have his future in place:
The club is in a really good development. It is moving in the right direction all the time, and I believe we have the potential to compete for the really fun places.
I am happy to get up in the morning and go to training, I am happy with my teammates, and I have developed a lot during my time at the club. It has meant a lot to me that I have played as many matches as I have this year. I would especially like to highlight my cooperation with Thyge (Mikkel Thygesen, ed.). He arrived when I wasn't playing that much, but he believed in me from day one, and has pushed and motivated me every day, and moved me a lot.
Now I have my future in place, and then it is up to me to take the next step in my development.
