The young winger and attacking player Liam Jordan joined FC Helsingør in the winter on a short contract that ran until the summer. But both the club and Liam have been so pleased with the partnership that the contract, which was due to expire on 1. July, has now been extended by two years.

Liam Jordan himself has settled in really well at FC Helsingør:
– My time at FC Helsingør has exceeded my expectations. I think I have developed really well, and I have entered a strong environment with a strong coaching set-up. I probably needed a change of scenery and FC Helsingør has turned out to be exactly right for my development as a footballer. There is room here for you to play to your strengths and develop what makes you really good. Trust is shown in players who can decide matches. For example, Jeppe Kjær is a good example of a player who has been allowed to use his strengths here, and someone I as a young player have been able to learn from and be inspired by.

– FCH has shown me trust, and has shown that they are happy to have me, and I am sure that this is the right place for me to continue developing. I have become better at my attacking runs during my time here, which is also connected to the way we play football and the style we have, which suits me very well as a player type. Next season, one of my goals is to work on my one-on-one challenges and become better at that part of my game. I am sure that I can help the club, and that the club can help me, so that we can achieve a common goal of a top position next season as well.

Sporting director Brian Gellert is pleased to have secured the quick attacking player:
– Liam has some individual quality that is hard to find in the first division. He is quick, strong in dribbling, and goal-minded. He is a player who fits perfectly with our strategy of young, agile players who can lean on a core of experienced players from whom they can learn. He has settled in incredibly well, and we expect even more from him in the coming seasons.

22-year-old Liam Jordan has played 14 matches in the spring, with two goals and two assists.
