FC Helsingør and Carl Lange have extended the offensive player's contract, so it now runs until the summer of 2023. Lange had otherwise been set to expire in the summer.
Sporting director Brian Gellert is pleased to have secured the in-form player:
– We are happy that Carl has chosen to stay at FC Helsingør. It is always positive when players choose the club, especially when we know how sought-after his signature was with his contract expiring here in the summer.
We are confident that together we can continue the fantastic development Carl has been through, where he has gone from being a player who would “pop up” once in a while, to now being a player who can be decisive in matches. Carl and the entire sporting staff have worked hard to get here, and he is still young and has great potential to develop even further.
Carl Lange himself was a happy man when we spoke to him earlier:
– I am happy to be here. We have a good environment, and I feel I have more I can contribute with, so it is great that the future is in place. I am looking forward to the upcoming matches against the top six in the play-offs. I think we have more to offer now that we are even more in sync, so it will be exciting.
22-year-old Carl Lange has played 48 matches for FC Helsingør, primarily as a winger, scoring five goals.
