FC Helsingør have extended the contract of the 17-year-old talented Viktor Hammer until the summer of 2024. Viktor Hammer already signed a contract with the club as a 15-year-old, which will now therefore be extended by a further 1½ years. Viktor Hammer is part of FC Helsingør's U17 team and will become part of the U19 team in the summer due to his great potential. During his childhood years, Viktor played for one of our partner clubs, Fredensborg B&I.
Academy director at FC Helsingør, Kenneth Rasmussen, elaborates:
When we extend, there is a special reason and Viktor is a player with great potential to go far in football. He has a great understanding of the game and truly good technical skills. In addition, he scores a lot of goals as a striker. He is physically strong and has added further to the physical side over the recent period. It is also important to send a signal to all academy players that we see them and see the potential in our academy.
Viktor played his first reserve team match for FC Helsingør on Tuesday, when the team met Fremad Amager.
Viktor Hammer himself says:
– I am extremely happy about this opportunity and I believe that the extension with FC Helsingør is the best thing that could happen for my continued development. I look forward to being challenged even more in the future.
