FC Helsingør adds two more talents to the squad. These are the two young Canadians Kunle Dada-Luke and Kembo Kibato. Both have been training with FC Helsingør for some time, and were included in the squad for yesterday's training match. Both Kunle and Kembo come from Toronto FC's academy, which despite being located in Canada plays in the top American league, MLS. Kunle Dada-Luke also has Nigerian citizenship in addition to his Canadian passport, and therefore does not count as a non-EU citizen, due to the so-called Cotonou Agreement between the EU and a number of African countries.

Sports director Matt Barnes puts the following words on the two new players:

– When we originally began our scouting in North America for FCH's squad, we were looking for players who could add some physicality and pace to the already talented squad in Helsingør. Kunle impressed us during his trial period with his speed and athletic abilities. He has most often played on the wings, but we have brought him in with a view to also training him as a full back.

- One of the things we are happy about with the current team is the possibility of putting the young players together with experienced Danish players, and I cannot imagine a better mentor for Kunle than Ricki Olsen. Ricki is thoroughly professional in his approach to football, and Kunle cannot find a better teacher.

– Kembo Kibato is a very versatile player who can play most attacking positions. He also impressed us greatly at the trial training sessions here in the summer. He has a smooth flow in his game, where he often makes it look easy to get out of difficult situations. His versatility will be a major strength for him; he can play both as a 8er or 10er, but also feel at home on both wings.

– The entire staff immediately saw that Kembo possesses great talent, and we were positively surprised that we succeeded in getting him to Helsingør. Kembo is one of the young players I see pushing for minutes already this season, and I am convinced that he can become something special if he continues his development and keeps setting the bar high for himself.

18-year-old Kembo Kibato has signed a two-year contract, and 19-year-old Kunle Dada-Luke has signed a three-year contract.
