26-year-old Frederik Ibsen can now call himself an FC Helsingør keeper.
Frederik joins the club after two years in Lyngby, where in the 21/22 season he helped Lyngby earn promotion to the Superliga ahead of FC Helsingør. Previously, Frederik has also been at clubs such as Vendsyssel and FC København.
FC Helsingør said goodbye to Sayouba Mandé before the summer break, who was loaned from OB. Now the replacement has been found in Frederik Ibsen.
Frederik will join the goalkeeping team alongside young Hjalte Petersen and Stan van Bladeren under the leadership of newly appointed Michael “Kappa” Charpentier.
Michael “Kappa” is also delighted to have the new keeper under his wing in the coming season.
“Frederik is an incredibly skilled keeper who will fit well into our system here at FC Helsingør. He is a man with a lot of experience, which will benefit the rest of the team”
Frederik himself is also looking forward to the new challenges in Helsingør
“I am happy to now be part of the squad here in Helsingør. I look forward to new challenges and to helping the club achieve its goals for the season. It is a strong squad, and I am sure I will fit in well. Now it is just about working hard and getting ready for the start of the season”
Frederik Ibsen has a contract with FC Helsingør until 30/6-2025
