This morning, FC Helsingør held its first networking meeting of the year, bringing together around 50 partners. As usual, the meeting took place in the lounge at Helsingør Stadion, where Nordsjælland Catering treated our partners to a delicious breakfast.
After a short introduction by Head of Sales René Dupont and Director Bo Bay Hougaard, Kristian Uhd Jepsen took the floor. Kristian is the director of Running 26 and organises events, networking and team-building activities, including at Marienlyst Strandhotel. Our partners had the opportunity to ask each other questions they would probably never have asked before. A lively start to a Monday morning.
Following this fine start to the morning, Director Bo Bay Hougaard took the floor again. Bo explained what is happening behind the scenes at a club like ours, including the status of the winter transfer window and a strengthened partnership with FCH Talent. Going forward, the focus will be on developing players, particularly our own talents from the academy. The club's ambition remains to compete in the Top 6.
FC Helsingør is testing the “Bob The Butler” ordering system at Saturday's match against Helsingborg, when the teams will compete for the Øresund Cup. “Bob The Butler” can be used to order items at the stadium for collection at half-time.
FC Helsingør would like to take the lead and co-host local events, both football matches and other activities. This summer, FC Helsingør is working with Stafet For Livet and Idræt & Anlæg. Helsingør Stadion will be the focal point of the event. Gunnar Stein from Stafet For Livet presented the event, which takes place on Saturday 10/6 and Sunday 11/6. Stafet For Livet is a day-long event focusing on the fight against cancer, remembering those we have lost and offering hope to those whose lives are closely affected by cancer. Everyone is encouraged to enter a team for the 10th edition of Stafet For Livet.
Bo also explained the club's finances and the opportunities to earn money as a shareholder in the club. Aslak Gottlieb from “Vi Samler Helsingør” added his perspective and explained his reasons for investing in the club. The local roots will be felt, and the club's long-term plan was presented.
Thank you to all our sponsors and partners for a good start to the week and an enjoyable networking meeting.
