FC Helsingør and the young midfielder Essam Salamoun have decided to end their collaboration. Essam Salamoun himself asked for his contract to be terminated, which FC Helsingør has accepted.
Director Janus Kyhl sends Essam Salamoun off with a fine recommendation:
– Essam has wanted to explore his options in the pursuit of more playing time, and we fully understand that. Essam is a product of the club's own talent department, and it is with some regret that we are sending him on. Essam has been both hardworking and professional in his approach to football, and he is a talented footballer who has suffered from others being ahead of him in the queue for playing time. We cannot fault his effort here, and the club that gets him will get a good and dedicated player.
It is not yet known where Essam will continue, but he has been invited to a trial training session at a club in Dubai here in December.
FC Helsingør wishes him all the best in the future.
