The midfielder leaves the 2. division club for the NordicBet League after two seasons at the club in Gladsaxe.
Wass has previously been at FC Helsingør, before he moved to Avarta and later AB back in 2018.
24-year-old Wass has been one of the leading profiles on the AB team, where from his position in midfield he has helped take the team into the promotion playoff in the last two seasons. Wass is also a goal threat and, with his seventeen goals across competitions, was an important part of AB's fine results.
Now he takes the step to the next level, and he looks forward to the challenge in Helsingør.
“I have performed well at AB, and I felt it was time to take the next step. There were several things on the table, but when FC Helsingør came into the picture, it was just a really good match. I already know the club, and now I'm just ready to show my qualities on the pitch and help the team win matches.”
Emil Wass has signed an agreement that binds him to FC Helsingør until the end of next year – 31/12-2024.
