FC Helsingør and the Brazilian striker Douglas Ferreira have agreed to terminate the agreement that was otherwise due to run until New Year.

Sporting director Brian Gellert comments on the departure:
– It is about Douglas being in a situation where he is far from being a regular starter for the first team, and at the same time has a wife back home in Brazil who is expecting a child. We had already decided that the contract would not be extended at the turn of the year, so it made the most sense for everyone that we stopped the collaboration now.

– Douglas has been a lovely guy in the dressing room and serious about his football, and has also scored several important goals for us, so we thank him many times for the collaboration, and wish him good luck with his future career.

Douglas came to FC Helsingør from Moldovan Zimbru Chișinău in January 2018. He made 45 appearances and scored eight goals for FCH.
