On Saturday there is football for everyone at Helsingør Stadium.
At 13:00, FC Helsingør plays the final test match against Nykøbing FC, and afterwards Brøndby IF’s U-14 girls' team also visits Helsingør Stadium, when they face the USA's highest ranked U-14 team, Reading Rage. This match starts at 16:00
FC Helsingør has come back strongly after the break, and started preseason by beating Lyngby 2-0.
After that, the trip went across the strait, where Helsingborgs IF had to be defeated to regain the Øresund Cup, which in winter had to be handed over to the Swedes. Here the team also showed really good form and brought home a 2-0 victory and the trophy back to Helsingør.
On Tuesday it was off to Jutland. There, Silkeborg and the recently sold midfield star Callum McCowatt were waiting, who could make his debut against his former teammates. He also got to do so in the 2. half, where he together with the rest of the strong Silkeborg side secured the win at 1-0. However, an extremely fine performance by FC Helsingør
The fine preseason will now be rounded off in style, when last season's relegated side from Nykøbing FC comes for a visit.
This Saturday there will of course be free admission to both matches and we are opening for sales of snacks and drinks at the kiosk. So take the family under your arm and enjoy a sunny Saturday at Helsingør Stadium.
Brøndby vs Reading Rage
There is probably no doubt that the USA has long had the best women's team in the world when we talk seniors. But how strong are they really at youth level compared with the best teams in Europe? This is the top of the crop in the USA, which Brøndby gets a chance to test themselves against. Reading Rage is a super ambitious team, which one only gets into after serious try-outs, as is known from the American sports system. And this spring the team was even ranked as nothing less than the best U-14 team in all of the USA!
Brøndby IF's girls play at the highest level in Denmark, and the squad includes several players who have been at the DBU's talent centres throughout last season.
You therefore get a unique chance to see girls' football at the very highest level – right here in Helsingør.
