Yesterday it was Jonas Henriksen who extended his contract, and today we can announce that we have also extended with Daniel Norouzi. The midfielder joined FC Helsingør in July, and has since played 15 out of 16 matches for the club, plus the cup match against AB.
Sporting director Brian Gellert is delighted with the two contract extensions:
For both Norouzi, and Jonas whom we extended with yesterday, it applies that these are players who are in their best footballing years, and who have performed for us at a really high level.
At FC Helsingør we focus on gathering good people both on and off the pitch, and with both Jones and Norouzi we are fortunate that they are both good people, but also good leaders and really good footballers.
Daniel joined us in the summer and has lifted things all around the squad, and is one who always leads the way. He is not that big in stature, but when he steps onto the pitch, he is a giant player for us. We are very happy that we have been able to agree to continue the cooperation.
Daniel Norouzi is now under contract until the summer of 2021
