Daniel Norouzi is FC Helsingør's new captain.

The club is proud to present Daniel Norouzi as the team's new captain going forward. Our number 88 joined the club in the summer of 2019 and played 29 matches last season, scored 2 goals and made 3 assists. Daniel Norouzi is a regular starter and a completely natural choice for the role of captain.

– Daniel Norouzi is a natural choice as captain after Hanne has stopped, so I am happy that he has said yes to being captain. Daniel has always been a strong leader and culture bearer, who in everyday life helps ensure that we have a high level in training, as well as a good dressing room. Kasper Enghardt and Frederik Juul Christensen will be vice-captains and they will share this role. I believe that a strong and healthy dressing room is worth much more than 100 hours of tactical training, and with the three of them I am sure we have exactly that, says head coach Morten Eskesen.

– It is a great honor for me to be captain of FC Helsingør. There is a big responsibility to live up to, as Hanne was the best captain I have ever had. I am happy to have both Enghardt and Frede supporting the captain's armband. I am not going to change, as it has always been a natural part of me to lead and be verbal. I want a strong and hard-working team. I am looking forward to the coming season and hope we will be even better than last season, says our number 88 and new captain Daniel Norouzi.

Everyone at the club is happy with the choice of Daniel Norouzi as the team's new captain after Nikolaj Hansen's departure.
