FC Helsingør has signed 21-year-old goalkeeper Christoffer Petersen, who arrives on a free transfer from Næstved, for whom he made 12 appearances last season.

Responsible for goalkeeper training Kim Drejs welcomes the increased competition for the position:
– Christoffer is a young goalkeeper who impressed me in the matches he played for Næstved last season. He is a skilled all-round goalkeeper who has a bit of everything in his arsenal. He is good one-on-one, good in the air, and good with his feet. He is a great goalkeeping talent who is already good now, and who we believe can become really good in the long term, so we had no doubts when we got the opportunity to sign him.

– Four goalkeepers in the squad may seem like a lot to some, but it is of course positive for us in the coaching staff that there is strong competition in such an important position. And we keep the competition open. The goalkeeper who performs best in training will also be the one who plays.

Christoffer Petersen has signed a three-year contract in the FCH shirt.
