It won’t be long before Kronborg Cup kicks off.
Zealand’s largest football tournament will be held this year on 11-13 August.
Over 500 teams from near and far take part in the tournament and will play around at the municipality’s sports facilities. Therefore, a lot of volunteer hands are needed!
There are already over 800 registered volunteers, but we need even more. The tasks are varied, and of course food and fantastic company with all the other dedicated volunteers are provided.
Flemming Hansen from Snekkersten IF has participated for many years and loves the sense of togetherness among the volunteers:
“I take part with great joy again this year as a Kronborg Cup volunteer.
It’s fun to see how the tournament has grown over the years.
The togetherness and good spirit among the volunteers, across generations and local football clubs, is fantastic for football in Helsingør Municipality.
In recent years I have also met volunteers who normally have nothing to do with football, but who wanted to lend a hand to bring joy to children and young football players.
It’s fun to be part of the development of this football event, which only gets bigger and bigger.”
