FC Helsingør's U19 striker Anosike Ementa has been sold to AaB

Anosike has been around FCH's senior squad for some time, and made his debut for the first team in the promotion match against Jammerbugt in 2 Division in last season.

Sports director Brian Gellert:
“Ano” is a great talent, and a local boy who has developed a great deal over the past year. It has been a big wish for Anosike to test himself at a higher level, so after dialogue with AaB and Anosike and his advisors, we have reached a really good agreement for both Anosike and FC Helsingør. It is a very fine development Anosike has gone through, and he is a good example of the great amount of work being done in the youth department. Ano has been part of Idrætslinjen HEA's cooperation with the youth department, and with us especially René Lybek, Daniel K. Pedersen and Carsten Dohn, among others, have been instrumental in moving him significantly in recent years. After a couple of really good performances on our first team, interest around him has grown strongly, and we look forward to following Anosike in the Superliga.

Academy director Kennneth Rasmussen is proud of the sale:
I am proud on behalf of both the club and the Academy. It is a huge tribute to all the coaches and managers who put in an enormous amount of work in developing the young players. It is a really good feeling that we have now reached the finish line with the second part of our two major goals, which are to develop players for the first team, as well as develop players who can be sold to clubs at the highest level.

Anosike Ementa has scored 12 goals in 16 matches at U19 level, and made three appearances for the first team, with one assist.
