Striker Andreas Smed had a contract expiring at the turn of the year, and the club has, in cooperation with the coaching staff, decided that the contract will not be extended.

Sporting director Brian Gellert praises Andreas Smed for his attitude:
– Andreas is a good lad, and we have been really happy to have him. He has shown fine qualities and hard work, both in training and in matches, but we have evaluated Andreas’ time at the club, and the sporting management has assessed that we want to go after a slightly different type of player for our attack. We are also doing this with the thought that we need to reorganize our offense because of Jeppe Kjær’s injury. We thank Andreas for a professional effort during his time at the club, and wish him good luck with his continued career.

– As for additional players with expiring contracts, as well as the squad composition ahead of the spring, we are currently in the middle of our evaluation ahead of the start of the season, and will come with announcements as things fall into place.

Andreas Smed reached 11 matches in the FCH shirt, with two assists as a result.
