Dear Fans
It is a difficult time our small club is going through this season, and yesterday's defeat to Hvidovre has not made it any easier. Over the past 4-5 years we have experienced a very big change, and the club has developed almost explosively. We have moved from promotion from the 2. division in the summer of 2015, via a spell in the Superliga, to now again being in real danger of a return to the 2. division.
This is of course in no way satisfactory, and therefore we are also continuously working to analyze and evaluate the team, the performances and the results. Everyone in the club is dedicated to the work of turning things around, and spends many hours on this work every single day.
It is frustrating and disappointing to be a fan at a time when things are not going the club's way, and I have the greatest understanding for your disappointment and frustration. Yes, I myself feel the same emotions, just like all our dedicated people do – there is no one here at the club who wants to be in this situation we are in right now.
I understand that you need to let off steam, and there is a good forum on Facebook, but I also hope that you understand that e.g. VIP events are part of running a football club, because without our sponsors we do not have a professional club.
We have 8 matches left in the season, and we are working purposefully and dedicatedly to win them. It will be some difficult weeks, but we are not giving up, and I sincerely hope that you will be with us on that wagon.
And no matter what happens, we will build on all the good that has been created over the years, and lift FC Helsingør towards new successes in the future together with you fans.
